Johnny Depp showcases his typically affable ability to not take himself too seriously in a sketch for 'Life's Too Short' - Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant's new TV show.
The series which also stars Warwick Davis as the head of a talent agency exclusively for actors of short stature, looks to follow the same formula as Gervais' previous show 'Extras' which landed big name cameos.
The clip below sees three-time Oscar nominee get revenge on Gervais who blasted Depp and Angelina Jolie's critically mauled romantic thriller 'The Tourist' as he hosted the Golden Globes (for which Depp was nominated).
Gervais said during the ceremony: "It was a big year for 3D movies. Toy Story, Despicable Me, Tron.
"It seems like everything this year was three-dimensional, except the characters in The Tourist. I already feel bad about that joke. I'm jumping on the bandwagon, because I haven't even seen The Tourist. Who has?"
'Life’s Too Short' runs on BBC2 from 10 November on BBC2.
